Established under the Eklavya Model Residential School Scheme of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, the school operates under the supervision of the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS) and Karnataka Special and Residential Academic Society
EMRS Bajjanahalli is a fully residential and co-educational institution, catering to talented students, especially from rural and tribal backgrounds. The school offers free education, boarding, lodging, uniforms, textbooks, and stationery, enabling students to pursue academic excellence without financial constraints. Following a bilingual medium of instruction the school prepares students for higher education and professional careers, bridging the gap between tribal and non-tribal communities.
